Visit Our Nation’s Capital

Washington, D.C. is a dynamic city that allows visitors to explore our nation’s history through architecture, monuments, museums, arts, and historic neighborhoods.

Temporary: Our office can normally provide Coloradans visiting Washington with Capitol tours and gallery passes for the U.S. Senate, and request tours for other federal buildings and landmarks. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our office is only able to provide a very limited number of Capitol tours. Tours are 30 minutes in duration, limited to groups of 6 people, and offered Monday through Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm. Public tours of the Supreme Court and other federal buildings are currently unavailable. Information on tour reopening will be provided when it becomes available. Updated White House Tour Guidance: On March 15, 2022, the Biden Administration announced that public tours of the White House would resume on a limited basis starting April 15 Public tours will be available from 8:00am to 12:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays and are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Tour requests must be received by our Tour Coordinator a minimum of 21 days in advance and no more than 90 days in advance. Our office will begin accepting tour requests on Monday, March 21.
