Wanted to keep you in the loop on some FANTASTIC developments!
Congress passed two bipartisan government funding bills to keep our country working. In these bills, we fought and secured funding for 160 projects across Colorado! From water system upgrades in Gunnison and a hospital expansion in Steamboat Springs, to infrastructure improvements in Grand Junction and workforce housing in Alamosa, the ideas for these Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) projects came directly from Colorado communities – because they know best what they need.

Since I took office, Colorado has secured funding for 150+ projects in addition to this year’s – and they’re already having an impact in our communities! We’ve been lucky enough to celebrate these projects through tours, groundbreakings, and ribbon cuttings, while highlighting the incredible significance they have to Coloradans.
These projects are addressing the needs of communities across the state, from fixing roads to beefing up rural health care and workforce training. Colorado deserves its share of funding from the federal government, and we’re proud to fight to get it.
